Coloured chalk & Gel Ball.
This structure was created by rolling a wet gel ball in coloured chalk powder and let it dry.
During the dehydration the diameter of the gel ball shrinks from about 15mm to 2.5mm. This shrinking breaks the hardening chalk hull while the adhesion between the gel ball and surrounding chalk gets stronger. After about 2 days the gel ball is covered with a thick layer of hardened chalk and the extremely fragile remains of the former chalk hull.
The resulting structure has a size of about 6 - 8mm.
